How do I use the SnoreGauge app?
Download
Start by downloading the app to your phone.
Use
Before sleep, place the device next to your bed at an arm’s length away from your face with the main microphone facing towards you, and press the "Start" button.
Recording
The snore detection happens on your device and does not require an internet connection and will work in airplane mode. Ensure your phone is charged or keep plugged in.
Results
The SnoreGauge score is a measure of snoring intensity. It is calculated using the average volume and the total duration of snoring. A higher score indicates louder or more frequent snoring, whilst a lower score indicates quieter or less frequent snoring.
The SnoreGauge Score is designed to help you to compare your snoring across multiple nights and to measure the impact of the Snore System. You can track the effectiveness of each the SnoreSealer and SnoreBuds alone or together. And it can indicate if you need to turn up the SnoreBuds' Snore Strength dial.
SnoreGauge is intended for informational purposes only. The algorithms cannot guarantee perfect accuracy and results are estimates that can be influenced by microphone sensitivity, noise interference, device placement and other factors like a snoring bedtime partner.
How does the Snore System work?
There are 3 parts to the Snore System:
1. SnoreGauge
SnoreGauge is a free app you can download to record your snoring. You can use it to capture your baseline snoring and then optimize your snore results with the Snore System solutions.
2. SnoreBuds
SnoreBuds go in your nose and help fix nasal breathing. You can turn the dial on the bottom to set the Snore Strength (low, medium, high, max). Start at a comfortable setting, like low strength, and if the SnoreGauge apps shows your still snoring, gradually turn up the Snore Strength.
3. SnoreSealer
The SnoreSealer goes in your mouth to prevent mouth breathing. It can be used alone or in combination with SnoreBuds for maximum anti-snore effect.
